What was Ashley like?

Ashley didn’t know a stranger, everyone was important. She was intelligent, creative & passionate about anything she set her mind to, there was something magical in the way she laughed…how she threw her head back & let joy move right through her.

Favorite memory of Ashley

When I earned a trip for two to the beaches of Hotel del Coronado. She was 5 or 6 & we had the time of our lives. She made so many friends, couldn’t get her out of the water. There was a raft building activity & our team won. Her loud cheers spurred our team on when were paddling to shore. She beamed from ear to ear when she was handed the trophy.

What will be missed most about Ashley

Her helping nature, going to out to eat, our talks, how she could remember names, songs, movie titles, Her quick wittedness, her vibrant smiles, her gratefulness for little things, her poems & writings, her creativity. That she was my last living child.

How will Ashley like to be remembered?

How hard she fought the beast of addiction. How many she did help to break their chains that are still with their families. She was passionate about spreading the message that people in recovery need understanding & care, not judgment, especially after losing her sister. How she would have done anything to be here for her son, Keegan. You kids & adults out there who are playing Russian roulette with your lives….GET HELP NOW!
