What was Adrian like?

Adrian was like the perfect child, sweet, kind, loving and happy. He made it so easy to be a momma. No matter what was going on in his life he was always positive. He was the happiest being in nature. He loved the outdoors. He also loved animals.

Favorite memory of Adrian

There are so many precious memories of Adrian, so I am thankful that I have those to always think about. Most recent memory is right before Halloween, us going Goodwill shopping, looking for a costume for a party he was going to and us trying on a bunch of silly hats and wigs just laughing at how goofy we looked.

What will be missed most about Adrian

I will everything about him. His contagious laugh, his wonderful hugs. his unconditional love, his genuine concern for others, and his ability to make everything brighter with his laugh. I will miss his text messages every morning saying, “Morning momma” “Whatcha doin?”. and him walking in the door with his beautiful smile.

How will Adrian like to be remembered?

Adrian would want anyone who hears his story to know he loved life. That his illness didn’t define him. That there is so much more to life than addiction. He would want people to remember him as, the one you could count on and how he always showed up to whoever needed him. He would want Ellie his niece to know he loved her more than anything, that his brothers truly were his best friends and to his father and I, that he knew he was very loved. That we will be together again and not to lose hope.
