What was Jonathan like?

Jonathan always wore his heart on his sleeve. He was generous with everything he had, including his heart… Jon loved deeply and openly, always showing affection to me and his step-dad and others. Jon fought hard against his demons for many years.

Favorite memory of Jonathan

As a little boy who would make breakfast for us and act like he was a waiter at a high class restaurant. He and I loved to dance together, we did that any chance we got. We both loved music and poetry and shared that passion with each other. Jon was always losing his “four false front teeth” several times before getting his adult ones in! Jon picking me up and twirling me around wishing me a Happy Birthday after I pinned him at his Boot Camp graduation ceremony on my 50th birthday in June 2001!

What will be missed most about Jonathan

Aboslutely everything!

How will Jonathan like to be remembered?

For being kind, loving and compassionate and giving everyone his best version of himself.
