What was Mark like?

Mark had the kindest heart and the sweetest smile. He was friendly and funny and everyone knew when he was around.

Favorite memory of Mark

I have so many throughout his life but the night before he passed stands out. He had just returned from a work trip. He was full of hope for the future and stories from the road. We had the most wonderful talk that night. His last words to me that night were “Mama, I never want you to have bad in your life, only good.” I think of this all the time.

What will be missed most about Mark

I miss his quirks. He loved to skateboard and when I watched him, I had to close my eyes over some of his maneuvers. I miss his big green eyes and the way he would get the most glorious golden tan while the rest of us never came close. Truthfully, I miss everything.

How will Mark like to be remembered?

Mark was a very loyal and devoted friend. He had a big heart and a personality to match. He was hard-working and generous with the time he gave to help others. Mark liked to live life out loud…but with a soft heart.
