What was Michael like?

Mike was a sweet, shy and funny guy, a gentle soul. He wasn’t always good about expressing emotion. He was loyal and loved sports all his life, especially the Chicago teams. He had a deep beautiful voice and was able to do voice characters and commercials. He loved his sports, pizza and Dr Pepper!

Favorite memory of Michael

My favorite memory of Mike was when he played Little League, he loved it! He looked so cute in his uniform.

What will be missed most about Michael

I shall always remember his hugs, and the last one at the airport on his last visit. I mostly miss his phone calls and visits, scant as they were. I miss knowing that he would be here for our old age. I miss him not being able to find his soulmate, marry and have children. I miss how much he loved my spaghetti, and him always having a Dr Pepper in his hand.

How will Michael like to be remembered?

I think Mike would like to be remembered by his family and friends as a great guy who made a mistake that cost him his life. He was a good son, brother, grandson and friend. He would like to have been remembered as being so funny!
